Nebraska Memorials, Inc.
There’s a reason we’re called The Monument People. For decades, families across the Nebraska, eastern Colorado, and western Kansas have trusted us for skilled craftsmanship, compassionate service, and personal guidance every step of the way.
We Are The Monument People
At Nebraska Memorials, Inc., we understand that choosing a memorial is about much more than selecting granite and a design. It’s about remembering a life, honoring a story, and creating something meaningful that will last for generations.
You may know us simply as The Monument People, but our roots in the memorial business go back decades, beginning in central Nebraska. Although we’ve grown over the years, the way we approach our work hasn’t changed. We believe every family deserves someone who will listen, answer questions, explain the options, and create a memorial that thoughtfully reflects the life and legacy it represents.
We are The Monument People, and we’re here to help you create a lasting tribute for yourself or someone you love.

More Than Memorials. A Family Tradition.
The Monument People story began in Broken Bow, Nebraska, as Palmer Monument Company, and Broken Bow remains our headquarters today. What started as a local family business grew over the decades as more locations and representatives were added throughout Nebraska and into western Kansas and eastern Colorado.
Second Generation. Same Commitment.
Today, co-owners Chris Smith and Ted Bloemker represent the second generation of their families to lead Nebraska Memorials, continuing the work their fathers began. Together with the skilled craftspeople, designers, location staff and representatives who make up The Monument People, they carry forward a tradition built on personal service and quality work.
Craftsmanship Behind Every Memorial
A meaningful design deserves skilled hands to bring it to life. From traditional lettering and carving to detailed custom etching, our craftspeople combine experience, precision and artistry to create memorials designed to endure.
We Take Our Work Seriously. Ourselves? Maybe a Little Less.
Helping families create lasting memorials is work we care deeply about. But if you’ve seen The Monument People on TV over the years, you probably also know we aren’t afraid to have a little fun.
